Le papier, matériau de l’esquisse et des prémices, devient ici une table basse entièrement fonctionnelle, composée de carton et de papier — un contrepied à la lourdeur du monde contemporain. Recouverte d’un trait de piceau au pigment noir mat en mémoire des dessins au fusain, la pièce évoque les manuscrits raturés, les traits superposés du graphite et tous les murmures qui se lisent entre les lignes. L’architecture alvéolaire du honeycomb structure les pieds, tandis que le plateau se couvre de traces sinueuses, comme une pensée en mouvement ou l’évocation d’une matière en transformation.

Paper, the material of sketches and beginnings, becomes here a fully functional coffee table made of cardboard and paper — a counterpoint to the heaviness of the contemporary world. Covered with brushstrokes of matte black pigment in remembrance of charcoal drawings, the piece evokes crossed-out manuscripts, layered graphite lines, and all the whispers that can be read between the lines. The honeycomb architecture structures the legs, while the tabletop is covered with sinuous traces, like a thought in motion or the evocation of matter in transformation.
